Dr. Hoeft graduated from Brigham Young University with degrees in Zoology and Spanish. He then completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Iowa on a 4 year scholarship. Following dental school he spent an additional year learning more advanced dentistry in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) graduate program. He served as a dentist in the Army for 3 years. He is also one of only 1% of all dentists who have earn a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD)as well as fellowships in the The International College of Dentists (ICD), The Amercian College of Dentists (ACD) and the Pierre Fauchard Academy (PFA) showing he is the "best of the best."
He has been married to Lisa, for 37 years and they have 4 children and 6 grandsons. When he is not at Kaysville Smiles, he is a faculty member teaching dental residents advanced dentistry at one of Utah's dental schools.
Lisa is a Kaysville native and is a 3rd generation graduate from Davis High School right here in Kaysville. She also has a degree in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University. As a mother of 4, including twins, and grandmother of 6 (including a set of twins), Lisa loves spending time with her family. She is the glue that holds Kaysville Smiles together and enjoys interacting as both a receptionist and an assistant with the wonderful people who come to see us. She is quick to answer your questions when you call, text, or come in and always has a smile on her face!
